If you have recently got a win 10 update and since then you can’t discover the other pc’s or devices on your network, then try these 2 methods that should fix the issue.
Method 1: Enable network discovery (you probably already tried this)
- Right click on the network icon on the taskbar and select “open network and sharing center“
- Click on “change advanced sharing settings” on the left pane.
- Expand the options and turn on network discovery.
- Click “save changes”.
Method 2: Enable “function discovery resource publication” service.
- Press windows key + R to open the run command.
- Type services.msc and press enter
- Locate “function discovery resource publication” and right click on it.
- Select “properties“.
- Change the startup type to “automatic“.
- Click “ok” and close the window.
